It has happened. You have had a call from ACAS Early Conciliation. The troublesome employee you dismissed means business. You were sure dismissal was the only and the right option but now you are doubting yourself.

Don't panic! There are a lot of ways of avoiding tribunal if there is a risk of losing.
Did you know it's possible to settle until minutes before a hearing? Usually we get to that point much earlier of course. We are experts in negotiating settlements and (almost) always manage to reduce what is being demanded significantly.

If our assessment shows that you did everything by the book and the claims are not warranted, or if they are out of time, then we'll put together a strong defence.
